American actress Danielle Riley Keough. [2] Born in Santa Monica (California) to the rock stars Lisa Marie Presley & Danny Keough and is the grandchild of the actress Priscilla Presley and singer Elvis Presley. Keough was raised primarily by her father in Hawaii and Los Angeles, and additionally resided with her mother in California and Tennessee. When she was 15 Keough began modeling. She was a part of Dolce &Gabbana's fashion shows and Christian Dior's on the cover of Vogue. Keough made her debut in feature films when she was 20 years old, appearing as a support character in the musical biopic The Runaways (2010), portraying Marie Currie. After The Good Doctor (2011) and Jack & Diane (2012), she appeared in Jack & Diane (2012). Before being cast in Magic Mike (2012), she was a minor character in Steven Soderbergh's comedy Magic Mike (2012). Keough appeared in several additional independent films in 2012 which included Yellow and Kiss of the Damned, prior to appearing in the major-budget action feature Mad Max: Fury Road (2015) The fourth installment of the Mad Max series. In 2016, Keough had her breakthrough role as a law student-turned-escort in the first season of the anthology series The Girlfriend Experience, executive-produced by Soderbergh and based on his 2009 film of the same name. Her performance was well-received by the critics, and she was nominated for a Golden Globe Award for Best Performance by an actress in a restricted series or motion picture made for television. Keough's performance as a lost young woman in American Honey (2017) garnered the same praise and earned her an Independent Spirit Award nomination. The same year, Keough played the lead in the apocalyptic-themed horror film It Comes at Night (2017), and reunited with Soderbergh to be a part of the heist film Logan Lucky. The film was followed by roles in a range of horror and thriller films in 2018 including Lars von Trier's The House That Jack Built and the neonoir Under the Silver Lake. Keough was the leading character in the psycho-horror film The Lodge. She was followed by another role in Zola (2020), which is a comedy-drama. Keough is the character Sandy Harrison, Netflix's 2020 release The Devil All the Time.
